About Us

The IMPACT - European Center for Cross-Sector Partnerships premises are used to organize meetings, public debates, round tables and conferences on key achievements and challenges in cross-sector cooperation, partnerships, corporate social responsibility, civil society development as well as absorption and management of international and EU funds. Events are organized in cooperation with public and private sectors and CSOs on creating an enabling enviroment for cross-sector cooperation and partnerships (presenting good practice examples, discussions on improving cross-sector cooperation and involving citizens in to socio-economic development activities on both national and EU levels).

The National Foundation for Civil Society Development was awarded by the decision of the Commission of the Government of the Republic of Croatia for Managing State-Owned Properties of January 1, 2005 the former military barracks “Franko Lisica” in Zadar to start IMPACT – European Center for Cross-Sector Partnerships. The facility was completely rebuilt and opened on October 16, 2009.

About Us

IMPACT operates in 1400 m2 of the ex-military barracks in Zadar. The Center consists of a modern, fully equipped training facility with 20 accommodation units (14 rooms and 2 suites), conference room, multimedia center, exhibition room, the library, a club and an eating facility. The entire facility is adapted to the needs of persons with disabilities. The IMPACT Center is surrounded by a large Mediterranean garden and owns its own parking lot.

Rental of conference rooms

The conference rooms Olive and Myrtle can be used to organize meetings, seminars, workshops, conferences, round tables, summer schools, promotions, exhibitions, etc.

Olive Conference Room

Olive conference room is located on the 2nd floor. Its capacity is up to 130 seats and it is convenient for organizing conferences, presentations, exhibitions, conventions, etc. This conference room includes interpreters’ booths, so it is possible to organize simultaneous interpretation in three languages. This conference room offers access to terraces ideal for outside work, organizing parties, serving refreshments, etc.

Myrtle Conference Room

A smaller conference room Myrtle is located on the building ground floor. It can be used to organize smaller conventions, workshops, seminars and meetings. It can seat up to 20 participants.

Internet corner with library

On the ground floor of the Impact center there is Internet corner with library where our guests can organize meetings, enjoy and relax themselves reading newspaper, surfing the internet or browsing through scientific books, handbooks, publications and researches on the civil society issues.

Conference rooms can be rented with or without equipment, per hour, for half a day (4 hours) or on a daily basis (8 hours). Larger conference room equipment includes 2 screens, 2 LCD projectors, a wireless microphone, a laptop, a sound system and a flip chart, while the smaller conference room equipment includes an LCD monitor. The other equipment can be rented by the IMPACT Center on client request. The price of conference room equipment use doesn’t include the service of rental of interpretation equipment and headphones, technicians and interpreters.
When organizing professional workshops, meetings, seminars and conferences for participants that are staying at the IMPACT Center at the same time, we’re offering other special prices and we’re also able to offer the organization of simultaneous interpretation of different events in several foreign languages.

Other services

As part of the Impact center we can offer you: the organization of accommodation and transfers, team building program, field trips and group tours.

Our team building programs are based on sports and recreational activities together with the gastronomic and tourist-oriented contents. Our programs, organized on selected locations in the nature, with custom-made menus and dishes, guarantee the complete psycho-physical recovery („battery recharging“), satisfaction and new skills, energy and motivation required to maintain high performances once our clients are back to work. We customize our programs to our clients' requests, needs and wishes: cycling, hiking, trekking, horseriding, speleology, rafting, diving, fishing, big fishing, sailing, bowling, cooking, paintball, etc.

Should you require transfer services or larger accommodation capacities in organization of your events (seminars, conferences, round tables etc.) the Impact Center can provide all these at one place. The Impact Center cooperates with transport-providing companies, hotels and hostels in the Zadar region, whereas favourable price packages and conditions can be arranged.

We have created special and interesting programmes for Impact Center visitors such as AGROTOUR, AVANTOUR, GASTROTOUR and NATOUR. These programmes include: accomodation, transfer, excursions and trips, sport activities, cooking courses, tasting and presentations of local food producers.

If conferences, seminars, presentations or business meetings include catering services (light meals), IMPACT can organize and offer you a selection of menus, that can be served in the hall outside the conference room, on the terraces, in the restaurant or in the garden.
